Saturday,
13 October 2007 saw more than 1000 guests and celebrities attend Conrad
Treasury Boardroom Blitz at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
Hosted by Paul Mercurio and with special guest performances be Small
Mercies, the event raised much needed funds for the Cerebral Palsy League
of Queensland.
In keeping with a movies theme, ten corporate bands performed hits
from cinematic soundtracks as they compete for the night’s awards.
Winners were:
Panel Pick: Disability Services Queensland, D Sharp Quavers
Tried and True Two: Panther Print, Print Shop Boys
Preferred Third: Super Cheap Auto Group, The Superlatives
Best Rock Moves: Parsons Brinckerhoff, PBeatles
Best Rock Presence: QR, Platform 9¾
Crowd Pick: Data #3, D Troop
The brands behind the bands were Conrad Treasury, 4KQ, Queensland University
of Technology, Panther Print, Data #3, Super Cheap Auto Group, Parsons
